I remember seeing this one in the movie Laura with Gene Tierney, which is one of my all time favorite movies. She has lots and lots of lovely material around hers. It gives it a decadent and feminine appeal in my opinion. I think that is what I love about them. There is just something so feminine about the whole idea of a vanity area, hence the name maybe? lol
I think this is my favorite, although I think I would prefer it is a blond color…maybe. I love that the mirror goes across the entire top of the table. However, if we are talking about the perfect set up, I think I would prefer a tall backed chair. So many options, so little room!! Ohhhh, if only!!

So funny you mention this!! For the first time, in my new house in FL, I have a "vanity" area. It is not a separate vanity table, but it is part of my bathroom so I went out and bought a lighted makeup mirror and a vanity chair. And I bought one with a back. It is so much more enjoyable to get ready with some nice music on, sitting comfortably, with good lighting...LOL! Makes me feel very glam!
I am so jealous!!! Someday I would like to redo my bathroom vanity area and even tear down the inside wall and make it all bigger and then put in a vanity area. There is just something really glam about it!!
