It's Time

Passover is such a powerful time, and it is also sobering. It is easy to be bogged down by my many faults and weaknesses as I examine myself, but more importantly it is about the renewing of my covenant made with Christ and God Almighty at baptism. I also must not forgot Christ’s terrible shame and suffering for my sins and the sins of all of mankind. I cry every year at Passover. I can’t help it. When I think of what Christ had to endure and that He did it freely and obediently, it just moves me. I am also struck by the amazing love Christ showed when He washed Judas’ feet. He didn’t do that for Judas’, He did it for us. So that we could see that we are to love our brother no matter what they have done or will do to us. Christ was the true example of love. I am abundantly blessed and I praise and thank God for this amazing calling.

I hope everyone has a blessed and fulfilling Passover.
Philippians 2:5-8
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Hebrews 12:1-2
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

I Peter 2:21-24
For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

I don’t know who all reads this blog, so if anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask me.
