Taxing Situation

I’m a moron. Okay, I am not a moron, but I clearly didn’t read the find print on my tax deductions when I filled the form at my new job. Well, the print wasn’t really “fine”, the reality is I just didn’t pay attention. Grumble grumble. In short, I took too many deductions. When I look at the form, I see what I was thinking when I did it, but sheeesh! Argh!

Thankfully, my State return will more than cover the Federal, which is who I owe, but what a bummer. =( I moan, but I am really super thankful about the State covering the Federal. This could have been a much bigger deal than it was. =/

And it’s a lesson learned…PAY ATTENTION!!! Sometimes being a grown up is a pain in the neck, ya know?
